Safer Cornwall Hate crime campaign continues…….

Safer Cornwall hate crime campaign is continuing into freshers fortnight. All of the freshers events are being attended by Devon and Cornwall Police and Cornwall Council equality and diversity team, explaining hate crime to young people just starting university.

Young people are being encouraged to support the campaign, and to sign our online pledge.

Safer Cornwall working with Torpoint Community College

Safer Cornwall is currently working with Torpoint Community College and other local  agencies to  help young people to reach their full potential. Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service has helped with the provision of a Phoenix course for some young people, and other work is is ongoing. The aim is to improve the outcomes for young people, and it is hoped that this will have the associated benefit of reducing anti-social behaviour In Torpoint.
