Understanding the problems

Every year we undertake comprehensive assessments of crime, disorder and substance use issues in Cornwall. These assessments enable us to understand the needs of the community so that services can be planned accordingly, decisions are based on evidence of need and risk and this ensures that we are focusing our effort and resources where they are needed most.
