Target Audience – Any frontline staff from any organisation working with children, young people or families within Cornwall.
This free course is designed to identify you and your staff’s individual and professional responsibilities around safeguarding adults and children at risk of harm from radicalisation. It aims to provide appropriate information and awareness of referral routes and support together with your legal duties as defined within the Counter Terrorism & security Act 2015.
The course broadly covers:
An awareness of threats, risks and vulnerabilities that define the radicalisation environment
Awareness of the radicalisation process that enhances vulnerability
Awareness of opposing ideologies (Far Right and Global Jihadist) and how they function
Legal duties as defined by the Counter Terrorism & Security Act 2015
