If you or someone you know is at immediate risk, call 999. If unable to speak, cough, tap the handset or dial 55 to alert the police.

You can refer to MARAC directly using the MARAC Referral Form. Whilst a DASH score is preferable, not having one does not preclude a referral. Please be clear about the potential escalation, based on your professional judgement. If you are unsure or have any questions please contact the MARAC chair, [email protected].
All services have a MARAC and DASV representative to provide support determining whether a case should be referred, based on the level of risk being identified, professional judgement or risk of escalation. High Risk category includes physical and non-physical harm. It is essential that all services understand this when assessing risk and referring to MARAC.
Please contact your manager or email [email protected] to identify your MARAC rep.

The Cornwall Domestic Abuse and Sexual Violence (DASV) Housing Pathway explains how Cornwall Council and partner organisations support people experiencing domestic abuse or sexual violence who may be at risk of homelessness.
Co‑created by the Housing Options Service, the DASV Strategy Team and system partners across Cornwall, the pathway brings together shared expertise to set out the legal framework, responsibilities of services and describe the help available. This includes urgent accommodation, support to help people remain safely in their home, and guidance on longer‑term housing options. It also explains how housing and non‑housing professionals work together so that anyone facing abuse can access safe, timely and appropriate support.
Our aim is to ensure every person experiencing abuse is treated with care, dignity and respect, and to help individuals and families find safety, stability and the most suitable housing solution for their circumstances.
